Today I would like to share with you my artwork which features the Typed Note – April 2015 Stamp of the Month available exclusively throughout April for $27 or for just $5 when you spend $75. I LOVE this stamp set!!

I thought I would make a card first cause I love the "Just a quick NOTE to say THANK YOU" sentiment because I always need and use Thank You Cards!! I thought the Yuletide Carol Paper had an 'old world' look about it and this type writer looked 'old worldy' too. I wanted to use 12" X 12" Black Cardstock and using the White Daisy Cardstock but the white against the black looked too stark. After stamping the Typewritter and the sentiment in Black Exclusive Inks™ I wanted the card to look more rustic so I used my Round Sponge (cut into 6 wedges) with Desert Sand Exclusive Inks™ and blotched the ink around the edges and accross the top to make the paper looked aged. Finished it off with some Bronze Shimmer Trim because everything is better with shimmer trim!!

After I'd made my card I decided I wanted to make a page too. Today the latest Seasonal Expressions Idea Book and Catalogue is launched and my favourite little new product is Carnival Washi Tape Pack. Its so versatile and cute. I love the bright colours, so thinking that this stamp set was perfect for that too, in a bright modern look.

To start the page I put the larger Washi tape from the  Carnival Washi Tape Pack on the top and bottom of my 12" X 12" White Daisy Cardstock. Using the bright colours of the Carnival Washi Tape I stamped the type writter in Lagoon Exclusive Inks™ and the "You're my TYPE of friend :)" in Sorbet Exclusive Inks™

Then at the top I stamped the pointing fingers at the top in the Sorbet and the sentiment "Did you hear the NEWS?" in Lagoon Exclusive Inks™ and used generational stamping to stamp 3 times without reinking.

Then I used the thin washi tape to make a frame around the photos. The photo of my page isn't the best but I am very happy with the page I made with photos from our Close to My Heart Convention last year. I love this Typed Note – April 2015 Stamp of the Month and the new Carnival Washi Tape Pack. These two items were all I needed to make a gorgeous page, thats bright, fun, quick and easy to replicate. I hope you make one too!

Remember this great stamp set Typed Note – April 2015 Stamp of the Month is only available throughout April from your Close to My Heart Consultant
