Today I would like to share with you my projects which feature the Thanks & Giving—October Stamp of the Month available exclusively throughout October 2018 for $29.50 or for just $8.25 when you spend $82.50.
I love this stamp set as its all about Gratitude, giving, being thankful and being at home (my favourite place to be). Plus the flowers, leaves, branches, wreath, house, and arrow are all elements that can be used in many different ways on many different projects. Its a must have stamp set. I am still loving the Boutique paper packs and the colour of the year is my favourite new thing. Sugarplum! I love it. Also I've been playing with and madly in love with Shaker cards. I've made heaps of them since I got my order with Thin Cuts—Shaker Window & Confetti and Shaker Window Foam & Acetate plus Loose Sequins—Silver.
This card I made using the gorgeous floral paper with the peacock background plus some Sugarplum Cardstock. I cut the base of the thin cut circle in white daisy and stamped it in Sugarplum ink, I filled the heart with 2x the shaker hearts which is about 48 hearts (but I found a few had missed getting inside before I closed it up tight) and a few sprinkles of silver sequins. I put on the acetate cover and stuck the outside cover on using Sugarplum cardstock and Tombow adhesive.
I stamped the Thankful in Peacock ink and the small hearts in sugarplum on white daisy cardstock. I raised it up on the base to the same height as the shaker window with the 3D foam tape from the inside of the shaker card foam.
The 3D foam adhesive is such a bonus with the shaker cards because you can use the smaller "corner" parts for tricky edges of shapes. See what I mean below with an earlier project.

Also please note: this card also fits in with the Colour My Heart Colour Dare Challenge #312. I have been following these challenges too as I am part of the Design Team now, and this challenge is to use the Boutique colours to create something. Hoping more people can join in the challenge and add cards using Facebook or Pinterest or your blogs (plus a few other ways). Have fun creating, see you soon.
