Today I would like to share with you my projects which features the A Bushel & a Peck—June Stamp of the Month available exclusively throughout June 2018 for $27 or for just $7.50 when you spend $75.
This stamp set is the Cutest and everyone has been making lots of cards and pages using this cute little girl and the sweet apples.
The card below was the first card I made using a card template from the Make It from Your Heart™ Volume 4. I used Workshops Your Way® Beautiful Friendship Scrapbooking Kit for the base card with Bashful Glitter Paper as the edging. Then I cut the Thin Cuts—Basic Banners, and the title card with Bashful Cardstock. I stamped the title and apple with Black Memento™ Ink Pad on a Thin Cuts—Basic Circles. I then coloured in the apple with Shimmer Brush—Bashful for the apple and for the leaf I used the Willow Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad with Shimmer Brush—Clear as a paintbrush to make the leaf glittery green.
I went around the edge of the banner, the circle and the title backing with Marvy® Uchida® LePen™ Journaling Pen and Black Memento™ Ink Pad. Sticking it all together with Tombow® Permanent Adhesive and the title and circle with 3-D Foam Tape for a three dimensional look to the card.
This is the card I did last month when I mixed up my dates when I was unwell. Thankfully I'm all better and happily I'm well prepared for this months blog hop post.
The next card I did is a technique card as a sample for our next video for our sponging series "Cardmaking with Caroline & Vandra". Watch this blog for more news soon. To start with I used Pansy Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad with Sponge Daubers Value Pack (12) to sponge some white daisy cardstock. Then I dropped some Glitter Shimmer Brush—Clear and Shimmer Brush—Bashful in dots onto the Pansy ink to create this lovely galaxy/ universe/ night-sky/ artwork/ random cloud of purple blobs.
After I'd let the inked and dropped shimmer paper dry, I backed it with Pansy Cardstock for the backing and the title. I stamped the title and little girl with Black Memento™ Ink Pad and then coloured the little girl & title in using Shin Han Markers. The title is from an older set so is in the clearance section of my website its called Prickly Pear Cardmaking Stamp + Thin Cuts currently reduced from $34.50 now $10.50. Its a great title for colouring in to match your paper or artworks and its only one of the stamps on that set.
I fussy cut the little girl out and stuck her on the card. The title was adhered with 3D Foam tape. Super happy with how she turned out and can't wait to film the video to explain it. I may updated this post to give a link HERE when its done.
