This week's challenge Colour Dare #350.
4th of July Inspiration photo. I see lots of mustards and reds and greys in this photo (so thats what I chose to create with). I'm in Australia so we don't celebrate 4th of July here but anyone can see these colours and create something wonderful.
Guidelines on Neutrals: Neutrals are free to use.
You are invited to participate in this challenge too. Go to the link for Colour Dare #350 and add your entry.
I used this months Stamp of the Month Bear Hugs—July Stamp of the Month and the gorgeous paper from the Into the Wild Paper Packet. With Red Pearls and a strip of Goldrush cardstock.
I had some white daisy cut shapes pre-cut from my cricut so I trialled a few shapes before choosing the heart. Fussy cut out my Heather inked teddy bear.
Thanks so much for dropping by to check out my latest project. Hope you can join in the Colour My Heart Color Dare Challenge #350 too. I'm really interested to hear what you think about it, so I'd love you to leave a comment. See you again soon. If you don't have a Close to My Heart Consultant (and you're in Australia) feel free to contact me either on this blog or via my website HERE.

Love that Bear Hug image and sentiment against the pop of yellow strip and pop of the red pearls finishes it off nicely...fun and adorable card.
ReplyDeleteTHanks Suzanne, I love the pop of the red and yellow too.
DeleteSuper cute card! I love those red gems!
ReplyDeleteThe red gems really make the pop finish don't they. THanks for your comment.

Thanks so much Tinz. Sweet of you to say so.
DeleteWe don't celebrate the 4th of July in Canada either... I love this bear and the background you chose for your card. The gems finish it off perfectly. Nice work :)
