My creative process for this blog was started a week earlier when I was cutting some Easter card designs for my Joey Scouts to create with. I grabbed a whole heap of my older retired colours and cut out Easter Cards on design space. I found this cute Easter egg cut out card on my CTMH Cricut® Artfully Sent Digital Collection.
I cut lots of these out because I wanted to have a selection of colours for them to choose, knowing that I could make them up myself afterwards with any left over.
I kept all the internal parts that I cut out so I was easily able to fill the tiny eggs with other colours of eggs that I had pre-cut. That was the hardest part because of the zig-zag chevron part above it, I had to put a white backing on it and cut out the triangle sections.
Then I added offcuts and scraps of my last Blossom Bundle & Blossom Paper Packet + Sticker Sheet. After I completed the layering, I covered the internal mess of scraps with a solid white cardstock.
This card is an easy card to make and customise to whatever paper scraps you have. A great way to use up scrap papers.
I felt artistic with my photography, so got a bit creative with Easter eggs and bunny ears.
I hope you have a happy Easter and relaxing long weekend (we get 4 days off in Australia - depending on your line of work), regardless of your beliefs I hope you can enjoy some crafting time.

DeleteYes, you will have quite a selection of different colors and papers in your egg designs... excellent way to create several cards that look different just using the other cutouts. Cool.
ReplyDeleteI ended up creating a HEAP of these cards and then the insides I stuck onto other cards so I got double!
