We have had a few rough weeks so I have been behind in crafting and I needed to make my son a card for his 18th Birthday so I did a search on Pinterest and was inspired by this card which was shared by Joely Berry see https://www.pinterest.com.au/pin/14214555065416463/

I decided that this would be perfect for this colour shades purple, blue and green. I pulled out the Block Alphabet Thin Cuts & Numbers but they were the number version which now would be similar to the new Birthday Numbers Thin Cuts or you could use the  Slim Numbers Thin Cuts which would also look awesome with this design.

So I cut a 12x 6 inch white card base and folded it to a 6x6 card base. Then I cut the scraps of cardstock in Thistle (retired), Grape CardstockSapphire Cardstock, Blue Belle Cardstock (last years colour of the year), Mint CardstockAvocado Cardstock and Clover Cardstock. I adhered them with Air Touch Adhesive.

Then I used Sapphire Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad and the Sentiments by Melissa Esplin Stamp to stamp Celebrate and Happy Birthday sentiments.

I trimmed the 18's that were hanging over and the card was complete. Simple and effective colour wash.
