Today I would like to share with you my project which features the Through the Year—November Stamp of the Month available exclusively throughout November 2017 for $27 or for just $7.50 when you spend $75.
One of the first things I made for my nephew was a nerf gun candle card. Each of the candles had a "flame" from the leaf of this stamp set. Stamped in first and second generation Tangerine Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad.
I placed 6 candles on the front and one inside.
The next thing I did with this stamp was take it to my card class and one of the girls made this card for her 13yr old cousin. I wanted to showcase it on here because I think she did a great job with the stamp set and the Gold Foil and the Thin Cuts. There are 13 cakes outside and 13 presents inside.
This weekend just gone I was a consultant retreat and I worked on a My Creations™ Calendar. I used the month's to stamp each title in Heather Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad. I did have a giggle at the 1's I stamped first. You can order a calendar now but watch this space for more info on a special coming next few months about the calendars. We may be able to order this Through the Years stamp set in December at full-price but order early in November to get it at the Stamp of the Month special price.
I took a photo of my desk mat at the end of the calendar because I thought it looked really interesting and kind of arty with the new Stronger Together stamp set which all the proceeds go to Red Cross for the hurricane relief fund. Tough Times don't last - January, March, September... Tough people do... Sometimes our scraps can turn into art :)
Remember this great stamp set Through the Year—November Stamp of the Month is only available throughout November from my website or from your Close to My Heart Consultant.

Your candle card is super cute. I love it when a stamp turns into something you didn't see at first glance.
ReplyDeleteThanks Shaunna, I enjoyed making this card with the Nerf Gun themed birthday party. I'm glad you liked my creative useage.
DeleteLove the creative use of the leaf as a flame for the candle card, Vandra, very clever!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tammie, I do so enjoy thinking outside the square with the stamps. They're so versatile! Thanks for dropping by to say hi.
DeleteA great card, so creative the way you used the leaf stamp as a flame. Your daughter's card is also really nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Doris, I enjoyed this one. Girl in my class isn't my daughter but thank you, I'll be sure to tell her.
DeleteHow cool are those candles - I would not have thought to use the leaf as a flame.
ReplyDeleteThe card your daughter made is great too
Hi Maz, Thanks for the comments about my candles. The party he had was a nerf gun party so I wanted to theme it appropriately. The girl who made the card isn't my daughter but I will tell her you liked her card.
