I love the paper in this set, lots of it is black and white in it, so it makes such a classic easy card. There aren't many papers that are Halloween themed so its easy to change up the papers to use for various other things. I stuck with simple and elegant in this couple of cards. I don't think the photos do justice to how classy they look in person (if I do say so myself).
The card below has a the black and white stripes and some Lagoon Ink for the Thankful Title from the Thanks & Giving—October Stamp of the Month. The little black heart is from this set too. A simple easy card that was quick and effective for all the many thank you cards I tend to make and use.

I really love the below card because the mix of the dots and diamond shapes looks like a mans shirt, so I'm glad to have made a more masculine card. The "pocket" shape (rounded triangle shape) was a cricut cut from our Close to My Heart Cricut Cartridges, I had in my scrap white daisy cardstock pre-cut from previously. I went around it with journalling pen and stamped the "You're the best" from the My Type of Note stamp set in black ink and put up with 3D foam tape.
Please note: I made a couple more cards out of this paper suite but will be showcasing them over the next few blog posts.

Oh, I could whip these up in minutes using scraps! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what you mean by taking minutes Shaunna, I was at Fun Day and only made 4 cards and 2 pages in 12 hours, so I'm sure these must take HOURS to put together :)
DeleteJust kidding :)
DeleteYou can never go wrong with black and white paper. Great cards, Vandra
ReplyDeleteThanks Doreen, There is so much black and white in the paper, most of the other colours come in with the complements and extras.
DeleteAlways looking for quick and easy cards, thanks for the ideas.
ReplyDeleteThanks Doris, These are very quick and easy, I love black and white, clean and classic designs.
DeleteGreat ideas for some really effective quick & easy cards.
ReplyDeleteThanks Maz, yes definitely going for Easy and Quick but I'm glad they're also effective.
DeleteWhat great black and white cards- perfect for masculine themes!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lauren, I often struggle to get Masculine themed cards so this is a great pack for that.
