Our Colour Dare Challenge for #506 is a Four Square where you need to choose at least 3 of the colours, plus Black, White, neutrals, Gold and Silver Free to use. When you are creating for more than one challenge please make sure your project meets our requirement. Most importantly - have fun!  Go to the link for Colour Dare #506 and add your entry. When you submit your entry you must provide a link to your post, not just to your blog in general. There are LOTS of ways to enter either a Blog Post or post to an online gallery (Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram etc).

I saw the Inspiration photo and knew it was a perfect opportunity for Distress oxide blending. I pulled out Mustard Seed Distress Oxide™ Ink Pad for the yellow, Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide™ Ink Pad and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide™ Ink Pad. I blended them with my Mini Ink Blending Tool.

I did two while I had the cardstock out. I did one on an angle first and then the second one I did horizontal. The tiny piece was to wipe off the sponges so I didn't get as much on their packaging (I store my Mini Ink Blending Foam under the oxide inks with 2" × 2" Flip Flaps™ Memory Protectors™

Then I flicked water from my water sprayer and the bigger ones from my Medium Round Waterbrush. I love this look from distress oxides and how they react to water.

I stamped the super cute sloths from the Take It Easy stamp set. I didn't get the thin cuts (they were sold out by the time I ordered it and I thought "I won't need it" and then I had to fussy cut the sloths out and thought I should have ordered it). I stamped them on White Daisy Cardstock with black ink and thought about colouring them but thought the background which is the hero would stand out better with them just black and white.

I matted the 4x5.25 inch White Daisy Cardstock that I distress oxided (is that a verb?)... with

Black Cardstock 1/8th bigger. I did the title directly on one card and one on white cardstock with the black cardstock backing.

I had two people in mind for these cards so they'll be going out ASAP.

Product Description

Kit contents:
1 – Sugar Rush Paper Packet (X7215B)

Also available is Sugar Rush Coordinating Cardstock to match the workshop your way pack.

I made the pages from the workshop (Instructions are available on my website www.vandra.closetomyheart.com.au or your consultants website). I really love this set of papers because while I'm not a sweet-tooth, I love how the complements and coordinating stamp sets talks about "how sweet you are" or "sprinkled with love" or "you're the sweetest". I think this is such a cute way for photos of loved ones or children or special friends or just about anyone!

This is my sneak peak (above) and the Close to My Heart page version (below).

The pages are really lovely and I have so much paper and complements left over. I also made the cards on the Workshops your Way samples. Below is the photo from Close to My Heart showing the cutest cards.

To make these cards you need the Sugar Rush Cardmaking Thin Cuts Bundle
This is such a "sweet" stamp set and coordinating thin cuts bundle. I love the quotes and donuts.
My ideas today to show you are very simple variations of the cards from the kit. Mostly the variations were super simple. Just by turning over the paper and adding different adhesive, from Tombow® Permanent Adhesive3-D Foam TapeThin and 3-D Foam Tape.

Remember Workshops Your Way® Sugar Rush Scrapbooking Kit is only available for a limited time so make sure you get it soon, so you don't miss out! Go to my website www.vandra.closetomyheart.com.au or your consultants website and order today.
