The brand new catalogue has gone live today! YAY!!!

Christmas, #CTMHVandra, Vandra, cardmaking, stamping, foam tape, thank you, sweet, catalogue, NEW, treats, hearts, star, candy cane, glitter paper,

This is me when I first got hold of my catalogue at our product launch in July. Its so exciting that its finally live to EVERYONE now!! YAY!!! Check out my website to get a closer look at all the exciting things.
Christmas, #CTMHVandra, Vandra, cardmaking, stamping, foam tape, thank you, sweet, catalogue, NEW, treats, hearts, star, candy cane, glitter paper,

So I used the new inks Candy Apple and Clover on my Christmas Themed card but I don't have the matching cardstock yet, so I used the Candy Apple ink to ink the edges of the white strip 1.5 x 5.5 inches. I did the half and half stamping on white cardstock and stuck with 3D Foam tape on the Gold Glitter Paper. I cut a Gold glitter paper pennant.
I stuck the strip of white with the candy canes and Christmas trees with 3D foam tape too. Then I stuck white dots from the Black & White dots.

I have been singing "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen"  Here is my favourite Pentatonix version of the song. Get into the Christmas Spirit (okay its September but I can get Christmassy already can't I?).

After I got all Christmassy. I decided I loved the title "Thankful for sweet friends like you". I grabbed my favourite Raspberry ink (that's a bit messy since I got it returned after loaning it out to someone). Then I randomly stamped on white cardstock 3.75 x 5 inches with the lolly wrapper, then the love heart and then filled in the smaller areas with the 3 little stars. I lined it with raspberry cardstock, 4 x 5.25. Then the title in Black ink with 2.5 x 2 inches and then half inch larger with the raspberry cardstock to back it.

Christmas, #CTMHVandra, Vandra, cardmaking, stamping, foam tape, thank you, sweet, catalogue, NEW, treats, hearts, star, candy cane, glitter paper,
I adhered the title to the cardstock and then sat it up with 3D foam tape.

Christmas, #CTMHVandra, Vandra, cardmaking, stamping, foam tape, thank you, sweet, catalogue, NEW, treats, hearts, star, candy cane, glitter paper,

_________________________________________________________________________

I have been making with this set so so much this month, I've used it for my my online cardmaking club, my online scrapbooking club and for making things with new products = all of these things I can't show you on my blog. The online card and scrapbooking clubs are unique card designs to those clubs only. The new product is coming in January, so I can't let the cat out of the bag yet there either. So I'm struggling with what to show you here.

The best thing about the Basic Fundamentals Bundle of products is that they're available for the life of the annual catalogue. These products are available until the end of July 2018 so we have over 6 months left to get them. Still I wouldn't wait in case they sell out before then end of the catalogue. Being the Basic range, they coordinate well with ANY colour, Any photos, Any accents, any complements and all shades of brown and grey... I LOVE LOVE LOVE this paper.

The first card I'm showing you is made with the grey flower fundamentals paper from the basic fundamentals with the grey linen looking paper and a section of Silver Shimmer Trim cut in half.

The stamp I used was from this months Stamp of the Month A Little Bit of Pun—December Stamp of the Month You are the Sweetest.

Black & White, basic, Fundamentals, button, Shimmer Brush, shimmer trim, sweet, cupcake, flowers, cake, Stamp of the Month, stamping, pun, cardmaking, friends, #CTMHBasicFundamentals, S1712, #CTMHCalendar, Vandra

I have used the pink Watercolor Pencil to colour lightly the top of the muffin and then the same pencil to colour heavily the cherry. Then I used the Shimmer Brush—Clear to add some sparkle...

The card below was from our last Stamp of the Month Blog Hop using theBasics Fundamental Paper Packet with the purple cardstock and shimmer trim. Also using the watercolour pencils and shimmer brush. The basic fundamental paper was used in the  Through the Year Calendar Kit (available this month only)

The card below is using the light grey linen looking paper as a 4 x 5.25 inch sized piece. Then a white daisy cardstock piece at 3.75 x 5 stamped the You're cute as a Button stamp. I cut these buttons using the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge - I used cricut craftroom to overlap two 2 hole round buttons on top of each other to create 4 button holes. (I couldn't layer the flower button because it wasn't symmetrical). You can't get the Artiste cartridge anymore but I'm sure there are other CTMH cartridges that have buttons :)

After I'd stuck down the buttons with 3-D Foam Tape I decided it needed 4 squares behind the buttons but it was too late to pull them up. The tape is pretty permanent once stuck down... Maybe next card I do I'll add that to it. you could add light pink (bashful) for a baby girl or light blue (glacier) for a baby boy who are usually Cute as a button!! All the part of this card have been added to to my online card club as a bonus card this month, so I can show you and still keep it exclusive for them too. I can't believe how much I've made and how little I can show you. I've made pages, cards, a calendar and more cards, I seriously LOVE this paper pack and it goes so well with the colour of the year 12" × 12" Bashful Cardstock (Especially Bashful Glitter Paper).

Some Kinda Wonderful Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to our Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop featuring this months featured pack called Workshops Your Way® Some Kinda Wonderful Scrapbooking Kit

If you have arrived here from  Nell Ward -nelliebligh then you are in the right place. If you landed here another way, please join in by following the link at the end of this post. Follow the links, check out all the amazing ideas and eventually you'll come right back here to where you started.

We are all creating with the Workshops Your Way® Some Kinda Wonderful Scrapbooking KitThis kit is featured by Close to My Heart in April and is available until the end of the current Seasonal Expressions Ideas Book which is TWO WEEKS FROM NOW (Yes that is panic in my font, only 2 weeks left to get these beautiful things before they're gone for good!!).
Kit contents:
4 – cardstock sheets (4 White Daisy)
1 – Black & White Dots(Z3314)
1 – White Twine (Z3216)

I decided to make a birthday card using the paper from the Some Kinda Wonderful kit and the Sweet Birthday Stamp + Thin Cuts.

I cut a strip of the Some Kinda Wonderful Scrapbooking paper to have just the circles and cut it to fit the 4 1/4" × 5 1/2" White Cards & Envelopes Value Pack card. I cut out four of the little party hats from the Sweet Birthday thin cuts on White Daisy Paper and stamped them with Black Memento™ Ink Pad
I coloured in with my shinhan markers and cut the fourth stamp to fit both the edge "faces". Then I stamped on all the different little faces from the Sweet Birthday stamp set. I stuck it all together with my new favourite adhesive Tombow® Permanent Adhesive.
I sliced a quarter inch strip of the black paper to line the bottom of the faces and stamped Birthday Wishes title from an old stamp set with Memento Ink. I think it turned out really cute!! What do you think?

Next I made some pages using the 4-3-2 pattern that I am teaching at my National Scrapbooking Day workshop coming up in May. I really like this versatile fast formula for getting pages completed so I was having a play with these papers too. Ask your consultant to explain this and give you the cutting guides.

I used the black cardstock to mat my photos (when I get them printed) and they are cut at 4x6 and 3x4 sizes. Once I know what photos I'm sticking onto this page then I'll add my complements and accessories for titles... to complement my photos.

Remember Workshops Your Way® Some Kinda Wonderful Scrapbooking Kit. is only available for a limited time and the seasonal expressions catalogue FINISHES THIS MONTH so make sure you get it soon, so you don't miss out! Sugar Rush CTMH Australasian Blog Hop Live

Happy New Year and new Seasonal Expressions Catalogue. Welcome to our Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop featuring this months featured pack called Workshops Your Way® Sugar Rush Scrapbooking Kit.

If you have arrived here from Wendy Hopper then you are in the right place. If you landed here another way, please join in by following the link at the end of this post. Follow the links, check out all the amazing ideas and eventually you'll come right back here to where you started.

We are all creating with the Workshops Your Way® Sugar Rush Scrapbooking KitThis kit is featured by Close to My Heart in January and is available until the end of the current Seasonal Expressions Ideas Book.

Product Description

Kit contents:
1 – Sugar Rush Paper Packet (X7215B)
1 – Sugar Rush Complements (X7215C)
4 – cardstock sheets (1 Whisper, 3 White Daisy)
1 – Sugar Rush Dots (Z3310)
1 – Sugar Rush Washi Pack (Z3311)
Also available is Sugar Rush Coordinating Cardstock to match the workshop your way pack.

I made the pages from the workshop (Instructions are available on my website www.vandra.closetomyheart.com.au or your consultants website). I really love this set of papers because while I'm not a sweet-tooth, I love how the complements and coordinating stamp sets talks about "how sweet you are" or "sprinkled with love" or "you're the sweetest". I think this is such a cute way for photos of loved ones or children or special friends or just about anyone!

This is my sneak peak (above) and the Close to My Heart page version (below).

The pages are really lovely and I have so much paper and complements left over. I also made the cards on the Workshops your Way samples. Below is the photo from Close to My Heart showing the cutest cards.

To make these cards you need the Sugar Rush Cardmaking Thin Cuts Bundle
This is such a "sweet" stamp set and coordinating thin cuts bundle. I love the quotes and donuts.
My ideas today to show you are very simple variations of the cards from the kit. Mostly the variations were super simple. Just by turning over the paper and adding different adhesive, from Tombow® Permanent Adhesive3-D Foam TapeThin and 3-D Foam Tape.

Remember Workshops Your Way® Sugar Rush Scrapbooking Kit is only available for a limited time so make sure you get it soon, so you don't miss out! Go to my website www.vandra.closetomyheart.com.au or your consultants website and order today.

If you landed here another way, please join in by following the link at the end of this post. We are all creating with the Workshops on the Go® Georgie Scrapbooking Kit.
This kit is featured by Close to My Heart in May and is until the end of the current Annual Expressions Ideas Book (so will be retiring at the end of July 2016). NOT LONG!!
This is the cutest paper pack with my favourite Elephant paper. You can use this paper for any project (not just babies). I however have been asked specifically if I can do Baby Cards recently so I have been making more Baby Cards.

I love this Wild Wonders stamp set that is available for also a limited time.

I made my card by cutting my yellow Georgie paper into 1.5" x 2.5" strips and cut Colonial White Cardstock into 1.25"x 2.25" strips. I stamped the words and animals in Slate Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad and the vine along the bottom of 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" Colonial White Cards & Envelopes, Value Pack also stamped in Slate. I stuck some of my stash of Puffies on the vine at the bottom. (some puffies are available in the Clearance section of my website).

Happy with my baby card, suitable for both boys or girls or "unknown".

Remember Georgie is only available for a limited time so make sure you get it soon, so you don't miss out! Go to my website www.vandra.ctmh.com.au or your consultants website and order today.
