Colour Dare #416 Comfort and Joy Tic-Tac-Toe

#CTMHVandra, Colour dare, TicTacToe, #ctmhComfortandJoy, Christmas, Christmas tree, Merry Christmas, Gold, star, cardmaking, color dare, Colour Dare Challenge, 3D Foam, bauble, bling, stitched thin cuts, Stitched frame,

Our Colour Dare Challenge for #416 is using the colour palette from the Comfort and Joy collection. You can use Black & White but no other neutrals. You are invited to participate in this challenge too. Go to the link for Colour Dare #416 and add your entry. When you submit your entry you must provide a link to your post, not just to your blog in general. When you write your Blog Post or post to an online gallery (Facebook, Pinterest, SplitCoast Stampers, Instagram) identify the products that you use.

I chose the right hand side New England Ivy, Candy Apple and Gold but the Holly paper from the Comfort & Joy Paper Packet + Sticker Sheet pack also has tiny dots with Scarlet and the holly leaves are avocado so I went across the bottom as well.

#CTMHVandra, Colour dare, TicTacToe, #ctmhComfortandJoy, Christmas, Christmas tree, Merry Christmas, Gold, star, cardmaking, color dare, Colour Dare Challenge, 3D Foam, bauble, bling, stitched thin cuts, Stitched frame,
After choosing the Holly paper, Candy Apple Cardstock and New England Ivy Cardstock I pulled out my old (retired) Merry Christmas Tree thin cut and the Stitched Rectangle Frames Thin Cuts. I cut out two of the trees (one red and one green) and one large thin cut rectangle in the holly paper.
#CTMHVandra, Colour dare, TicTacToe, #ctmhComfortandJoy, Christmas, Christmas tree, Merry Christmas, Gold, star, cardmaking, color dare, Colour Dare Challenge, 3D Foam, bauble, bling, stitched thin cuts, Stitched frame,

I stuck the stitched rectangle frame on one White Cards & Envelopes Value Pack card
and the inside of the frame on the other card. I stuck the trees down with 3D foam tape (cut thin to fit on the lettering). To finish I put a white enamel star (retired) on the top and gold pearls (retired but you could colour current White Pearls with Antique Elements Metallic Markers)

I love these Oh What Fun Felt Shapes and I wanted to do something special with them. I still had some 'Tis the Season Snowflakes left from last month and have seen a number of decorations being made with them. So I collected my ingredients from Workshops Your Way® Oh What Fun Scrapbooking Kit ... the Felt shapes, the Snowflakes, Raspberry Baker's Twine and some Clover Cardstock cut with Thin Cuts—Stitched Circles

#CTMHVandra, Christmas, decorations, Christmas tree, #ctmhOhWhatFun, blog hop, 3D, papercrafting, papercraft, sparkles, felt, Workshops Your Way,

I cut the clover circles with the light side up because I wanted the dark green to show through the holes in the snowflakes. From the back they'll also look neat with the stitched ring on the light side. I stuck the Raspberry bakers twine to the 3D foam adhesive. Put a bit extra Tombow® Permanent Adhesive to make sure they stuck to the ribbon and the circles.

#CTMHVandra, Christmas, decorations, Christmas tree, #ctmhOhWhatFun, blog hop, 3D, papercrafting, papercraft, sparkles, felt, Workshops Your Way,

So quick and easy to put together as the felt are stickers so they just stuck onto the front of the snowflakes with the dark green clover cardstock cirlces showing through the holes and the larges 4 felt shapes. So cute. So easy and they look great on our Christmas Tree (although I may use them as gifts on cards but I'm not sure yet).

#CTMHVandra, Christmas, decorations, Christmas tree, #ctmhOhWhatFun, blog hop, 3D, papercrafting, papercraft, sparkles, felt, Workshops Your Way,

Best part is that I've still got 4 small felt shapes to use on other projects.

Remember this great set Workshops Your Way® Oh What Fun Scrapbooking Kit and associated things will be only available while stocks last with this seasonal catalogue which finishes at the end of December (if not sold out beforehand) TWO WEEKS!!! Candy Cane Alphabet S1812 CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month

Welcome to our Australasian Blog Hop. A group of us have been creating with the "Candy Cane Alphabet—December Stamp of the Month" Stamp set. If you have arrived here from Doris Taylor then you are in the right place. If you landed here another way, please join in by following the link at the end of this post. Follow the links, check out all the amazing ideas and eventually you'll come right back here to where you started.

Today I would like to share with you my projects which feature the Candy Cane Alphabet—December Stamp of the Month available exclusively throughout December 2018 for $29.50 or for just $8.25 when you spend $82.50.

This stamp set with the Stamp of the Month Discount is perfect to get TWO sets so you can have two of each letter, especially vowels :) I got myself two of these sets so I don't have to leave gaps and fill them in later.
#CTMHVandra, Christmas, alphabet, candy cane, cardmaking, Holly, Candy Apple, Christmas tree, #CTMHTisTheSeason, versamat, Stamp of the Month, blog hop,
So I decided to do a Christmas Card and thought at First I would write "Merry Christmas" but that has 3 R's in it. So nope I only have two sets and I didn't want to leave gaps, I wanted to stamp all at once... I wanted one stamp and so decided on "HAPPY CHRISTMAS".

I lined it up on my VersaMat™ the right way and then stuck my block on top. I made sure it was less than 5.5 inches (the width of the card and envelope set).

Once I was happy with the stamping on scrap paper with Candy Apple Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad. I stamped the Candy Apple onto 2.25 x 5.5 inch white cardstock.

After I stamped the Happy Christmas with the Candy Cane Alphabet, I stamped the Holly and Christmas trees from Christmas Countdown stamp set with
Candy Apple Ink and Fern Ink.

Christmas Countdown D1799

I cut 1x5.5 inch strips of the red check paper from 'Tis the Season Paper Packet
and put them on the top and bottom of the card. Quite happy with how this turned out. Another easy to replicate Christmas card for the kids friends Christmas cards.

Seasonal Trees CTMH Stamp of the Month S1811 Blog Hop

Welcome to our Australasian Blog Hop. A group of us have been creating with the "Seasonal Trees—November Stamp of the Month" Stamp set. If you have arrived here from Doreen Watkins then you are in the right place. If you landed here another way, please join in by following the link at the end of this post. Follow the links, check out all the amazing ideas and eventually you'll come right back here to where you started.

Today I would like to share with you my projects which feature the Seasonal Trees—November Stamp of the Month available exclusively throughout November 2018 for $29.50 or for just $8.25 when you spend $82.50.

#CTMHVandra, #CTMHTisTheSeason, Christmas, trees, pearls, Christmas tree, gift card, gifts, 4x4, Stamp of the Month, SOTM, stamping,
I've been making some Christmas cards in quick easy styles to make hundreds for my kids to give out. Also smaller sizes to be more like Gift cards for them to give with gifts. I thought this might be quicker to make and give a 4 x 4 sized card instead of the usual 4.25 x 5.5 sized card.

So I stamped the Tree with Espresso Ink, then the leaves with New England Ivy Ink. Then I did the star with Canary Ink and the Espresso Ink outline. For baubles I used Red Pearls.
The paper behind the 4 x 4 card is a 3.75 x 3.75 piece of holly paper from 'Tis the Season Paper Packet. Then I finished it off with some Gold Shimmer Trim.
