Colour Dare #382 Monochromatic Purples

I decided to make a selection of purple cards with a theme for my friend who started Chemo & Radiation last week. So the cards are all uplifting messages and I pulled out a whole heap of old stamp sets and one of the new stamp sets called Keep Your Head Up

This stamp set is a charity fundraiser... With every purchase of this stamp set, all proceeds will be donated to relief efforts for fighting the Australian bush fires (AU Red Cross). It's such a great stamp and the heart makes a great random stamping pattern. It is really great to colour in with the TriBlend™ Marker Bundle

I picked out the Charcoal grey and used the two toned sides (light/dark) and the purple ribbon and grey floral patterns from an old pack. I also grabbed the purple and matching ink to the cardstock. I was able to create a set of cards all with great sentiments for someone who is ill (but useful in so many other instances too).

Colour Dare #358 Back to School Inspiration

I decided to make something a little different, I decided to make a Welcome Back Banner for my workmate Meg who has been on leave for about a month. I pulled out my Pacifica, Lemon, Cranberry and Emerald cardstock and cut 3 inch strip and then cut them into a bunting shapes. 

The white letters are cut with the ABC Thin Cuts and I stuck the letters on with Tombow adhesive, then onto my old black and white twine with washi tape. The length of the twine was determined by what was left on the role. I didn't measure it at all. 

I'm going to put the bunting up in our office to welcome my workmate back. I've missed her. Primary colours are really fun. It would have also looked good with Black letters but I ran out of black cardstock and need to re-stock.

Colour Dare #354 tic tac toe

This week's challenge Colour Dare #354

Choose from these Tic Tac Toe colours - a line along or down. Black & White are free. 

I don't know how to win at Tic-Tac-Toe so I wouldn't win. I used Pewter, Charcoal and Almond.

I used the paper from the Workshops Your Way® Into the Wild Scrapbooking Kit. Plus Charcoal cardstock and white daisy cardstock. The pewter ink for the Workshops Your Way® You're Awesome Cardmaking Kit stamps - you rock and the mountain. 

The ribbon is an almond colour with gold through it - you can't get this ribbon anymore but you can get a white/gold version on my website.
