Hello Lovely Happy Birthday

At my weekly cardmaking class at an adult learning centre they requested some cards that don't have any stamping because some of them have the shakes.
I racked my brains to come up with something to suit their requirements that didn't have stamping.

Last week I showed them the cards I had made for previous blogs (see links to them below).

The cards they liked had the patchwork style design with the half inch strips. So using those as inspiration and also inspired by my friend and sister consultant Laura Beacham who used half inch strips to cover a thin cut heart. Today, I made a card with my Hello lovely half inch scraps and Fern cardstock to thin cut the heart and border and the Happy birthday thin cut in Fern cardstock.

I stuck the thin heart border and the Happy birthday with the bonding memories Glue Pen.

Card all made with no stamping. I was very happy with the way it looked. Simple and fun to create and duplicate.

Easter Bunny S1702 CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to our Australasian Blog Hop. We have all been creating with the "Easter Bunny—February Stamp of the MonthStamp set. If you have arrived here from Wendy Hopper ...Expressions of the heart then you are in the right place. If you landed here another way, please join in by following the link at the end of this post. Follow the links, check out all the amazing ideas and eventually you'll come right back here to where you started.

Today I would like to share with you my project which features the Easter Bunny—February Stamp of the Month available exclusively throughout February 2017 for $27 or for just $7.50 when you spend $75.

This is the CUTEST little stamps set so I KNOW all the 10 consultants in this blog hop will have an amazing selection of ideas for us. Make sure you check everyone out and come right back to here.

I started by stamping the littlest bunny with Black Memento™ Ink
The one on the right is straight black and the one on the left is second generation inked for that lighter grey colour. I like using Memento because you can colour with markers or use watercolour paints without the black ink running.

The first two cards in my series are slight modifications from instructions consultants were given at our Sneak Peak events last year. Contact your consultant if you'd like the instructions. The are very simple.

1 patterned piece 5.5 x 4.25 inches
1 piece 1.5 inches wide to place on the bottom (I split mine into 2 x 0.75 inch parts and on the second card I used the zip strips which are 0.5 inches wide)
2.5 x 4.25 inches of White Daisy Cardstock

I drew around the Somebunny Wishes You banner with Marvy® Uchida® LePen™ Journaling PenThen coloured in flowers and bunny with my ShinHan Markers. ShinHan™ Touch Twin™ Pastel Green Marker to match the green in the paper as closely as I could. Don't look at my colouring in too closely - It was late the night I made these so I could probably do a lot better with more sleep :)

I had lots of scraps from a card I'd made with zip strips and half inch strips like a patchwork quilt (see other blog post on Hello Lovely). So the next card I made was the card below with the half inch strips on a white small section of card (the bit under the bunny).

With the scraps I had from the Workshops Your Way® Hello Lovely Scrapbooking Kit
the other card I added the strips to the corner as well and added Gold Foil Tape
along the edge (the photo looks silver but is actually gold).

I stamped the bunny and flowers and title in Fern Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad
and used a grey pencil to colour in the top of the bunny.

Remember this great stamp set Easter Bunny—February Stamp of the Month is only available throughout February from my website or from your Close to My Heart Consultant. Also the Workshops Your Way® Hello Lovely Scrapbooking Kit
is only available until the end of the current Seasonal Expressions Catalogue so is only available until the end of April.

Thanks so much for dropping by to check out my latest projects. I'm really interested to hear what you think about it, so I'd love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop on our Australasian Blog Hop which is Chris Woodward.

Adore You S1701 Stamp of the Month January 2017

Today I would like to share with you my projects which features the Adore You S1701 January Stamp of the Month available exclusively throughout January 2017 for $27 or for just $7.50 when you spend $75.
I had a lot of fun making this scrap card - like a patchwork quilt. All the scraps from the Workshops Your Way® Hello Lovely Scrapbooking Kit.

white card and Zip Strips and half inch strips from the scraps.

Stamped the heart with Black Memento™ Ink Pad and then second generation stamped the lighter one and coloured it slightly lighter colours with my ShinHan Markers. I ended up using the slighter one for my card.

After the complex patchwork card I made a super simple elegant thank you card using the PML card and a strip of scrap under the white rectangle. Stamped with Black Memento™ Ink Pad and coloured with ShinHan Markers. I love how pretty it looks and how simple it is.

Zoe Australiasian Blog Hop

Welcome to our Special Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop featuring Zoe. We have all been creating with the brand NEW Zoe Products that have been released in August before the new Catalogue goes live 1st September. If you have arrived here from Patricia Manhire - Patricia Manhire's Creative Corner then you are in the right place. If you landed here another way, please join in by following the link at the end of this post. Follow the links, check out all the amazing ideas and eventually you'll come right back here to where you started.

I started with the Workshops on the Go® Zoe Scrapbooking Kit  (WOTG).
I created the Double-Page Layout at our recent Consultant Fun Day but I wanted to make it special and add something of interest to our Blog Hop especially for Zoe.

So I decided to create a Zoe Flip Flap, to fit MORE photos on the page. Using the Memory Protectors™ Flip Flaps™ 12" Assortment I decided to create an 8 inch "page" to sit over the top of my Zoe WOTG Right hand side page. I used off cuts from the WOTG pages and created a similar designed layout to what was to lay underneath.

To decorate it I used the line stamp from the Workshops on the Go® Zoe Scrapbooking Kit  (WOTG) to create the Journalling box and I decorated this flippy flappy page with Zoe Complements. My lines aren't that straight but I have learned that sometimes quirky is interesting. The title Sticker "This is what I've been up to" was matted in scrap 12" X 12" White Daisy Cardstock to ensure it stood out on the grey grid background. I also used the Duck® Easy Stick™ Adhesive (which is clear) to adhere the vellum camera, as the Ez Dots is a bit blue so sometimes you can see through the vellum using that form of adhesive.

This is my 8 inch page with the same 3 inch blue strip of B&T paper and the same Coral Shimmer Trim that is currently only available to purchase within the Zoe Workshop on the Go pack. (Coral Shimmer Trim will be available to purchase individually from 1st September).

The Zoe Complements are a great addition and the new format of complements with Stickers, Vellum diecuts and Kraft diecuts makes this an awesome little set with such versatility.

Once I had completed my Zoe Flip Flap. I adhered the Memory Protectors™ Flip Flaps™ 12"x8" to the top of my Memory Protectors™ Top Load pages. I did move the photo squares up a little bit higher so the flip flap sat better without any "bits" showing up underneath (as you can see in the below photo compared with the original double page spread). I'm sorry I can't take a better photo of my flip flap, its a bit hard to show the flipping, without getting shadowing. I'd love to be able to show everyone in person because its a lot more effective.

All the instructions for the Zoe Workshop on the Go are in the pack so its really easy to make up the page. Then use any leftovers with additional paper from a Zoe Paper Packet to create your own Flip Flap Album page addition. Memory Protectors™ Flip Flaps™ 12" come in a variety of widths and sizes in that Assortment pack

I also wanted to show you this "Fun" card that I made for our Consultant Fun Day 10 fold swap. For a bit of extra inspiration. I used the stamp set from the Workshops on the Go® Zoe Scrapbooking Kit .

My sister consultant Alicia Lawrence gave me permission to share her masterpiece card with you as well. She made 10 of these beautiful patchwork Zoe cards for our Monthly 10 fold swap. Such a great card and its using this months Stamp of the Month Framed – August 2015 Stamp of the Month

Thanks Alicia for being so generous in your sharing and creation!! I'm so glad I got to have your card as a sample for my workshops.

Thanks so much for dropping by to check out my latest project (with a few extra's thrown in), I hope you get Inspired and fall in love with Zoe like we all have. I'm really interested to hear what you think about it, so I'd love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop on our Special Zoe Australasian Blog Hop is
Anne - Mummy you made this?
