Colour Dare Challenge #340 - Lagoon, Sapphire, Ballerina, Smoothie, Candy Apple, Silver at least three

This week's challenge Colour Dare #340.

Guidelines on Neutrals:  Black, White, and Gray are free to use. 

The colours in this challenge are quite similar to the colours in the So Much Happy Paper Packet (excluding a few colours like lemon, clover and mint). 

The So Much Happy Paper Pack is where I got the Lagoon check paper, the sapphire and lagoon zip strip (with the diamond shapes), and the lagoon/sapphire hearts paper. The Title Celebrate came from the cut apart sheet in the paper pack. I added that on with 3D Foam tape. 

The Silver is Silver Shimmer Trim and then I cut it in half lengthwise for the skinnier strips. I stuck it on my trimmer and cut it in half and then pulled it off the trimmer and stuck it on the card. Then to finish it off I added Silver Glitter Gems.

A simple yet effective sparkle/blingy card.

Workshops Your Way® Beary Christmas Scrapbooking Kit.This kit is available until the end of the Seasonal Expressions Ideas Book (December 2017). I made things with Beary Christmas Workshop your Way kit last month and kept creating with the leftovers of the kit this month. I still have lots of leftovers but I've been using them up card by card, project by project. Zip strips and off cut of red stripes. I cut my own tag shape and stamped the Ho Ho Ho M sized stamp set in black ink and inked the edges. Then I used 3D foam tape to have it be 3D and added Whisper Thick Twine that I had split it in half. 

This one was offcuts of the red cranberry cardstock (from the pack), Silver Foil Tape 
the Joy was from a stamp set from last year. and Clear Sparkles. The star was cut with the CTMH cricut cartridge (slightly stretched on computer).

This one was an offcut of Black Glitter paper with the paper and the Very Merry was the last years Christmas stamp called unsurprisingly "Verry Merry"... hehehehee...

This is a PML card and gold glitter paper with some 3D foam tape and gold glitter gems. Very happy with how this one turned out. 

an offcut of the paper complete with zip strip, stamping the sentiment with Cranberry ink and using some Sequins Gold Assortment.

circle thin cut and a heart embellishment on 3D foam tape. This is one I've loved to create and how it turned out. I used cranberry ink around the circle.

A mix of old and new paper. the bear is the PML card and the green and red paper is old christmas paper with a silver foil star sticker from Better Together Complements.
Sentiment is from Very Merry stamp set from last year.

 The above card is made with 2 picture my life cards, and the reindeer button. 

The above card was made with the picture my life card 4x6  and I cut off the stitching ends to make it fit the 5.5 sized card - (see below x stitching from the PML card). Then I added the red shimmer trim and added the small half inch  section back to fit the space. I put Red Shimmer trim behind the 25 and then put the whole star in 3D foam tape. 

I really enjoyed this zip strip card. I used the x stitching from the PML card and stamped the Merry Christmas in the white spaces with red enamel gems. 

 More PML cards and I covered the title with the white Merry Christmas 3D foam tape. 

Another zip strip and some off cuts plus an M sized old style Christmas stamp and old red enamel hearts. 

The last thing I made was this page that I was so happy with. I used the off cuts and zip strips and black cardstock and Black Shimmer Trim and PML cards and some complements and some black and white stripes diagonal paper from the Cats & bats that went really well with it too. I really loved how this page turned out. Black and white doesn't have to be a christmassy page.

Easter Bunny S1702 CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Today I would like to share with you my project which features the Easter Bunny—February Stamp of the Month available exclusively throughout February 2017 for $27 or for just $7.50 when you spend $75. 

This is the CUTEST little stamps set so I KNOW all the 10 consultants in this blog hop will have an amazing selection of ideas for us. Make sure you check everyone out and come right back to here. 

I started by stamping the littlest bunny with Black Memento™ Ink 

The one on the right is straight black and the one on the left is second generation inked for that lighter grey colour. I like using Memento because you can colour with markers or use watercolour paints without the black ink running. 

I made the cards with Workshops Your Way® Hello Lovely Scrapbooking Kit. 

The first two cards in my series are slight modifications from instructions consultants were given at our Sneak Peak events last year. Contact your consultant if you'd like the instructions. The are very simple. 

1 patterned piece 5.5 x 4.25 inches

1 piece 1.5 inches wide to place on the bottom (I split mine into 2 x 0.75 inch parts and on the second card I used the zip strips which are 0.5 inches wide)

2.5 x 4.25 inches of White Daisy Cardstock

I drew around the Somebunny Wishes You banner with Marvy® Uchida® LePen™ Journaling Pen. Then coloured in flowers and bunny with my ShinHan Markers. ShinHan™ Touch Twin™ Pastel Green Marker to match the green in the paper as closely as I could. Don't look at my colouring in too closely - It was late the night I made these so I could probably do a lot better with more sleep :)

I had lots of scraps from a card I'd made with zip strips and half inch strips like a patchwork quilt (see other blog post on Hello Lovely). So the next card I made was the card below with the half inch strips on a white small section of card (the bit under the bunny). 

With the scraps I had from the Workshops Your Way® Hello Lovely Scrapbooking Kit 

the other card I added the strips to the corner as well and added Gold Foil Tape

along the edge (the photo looks silver but is actually gold). 

I stamped the bunny and flowers and title in Fern Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad

and used a grey pencil to colour in the top of the bunny.

Adore You S1701 Stamp of the Month January 2017

Today I would like to share with you my projects which features the Adore You S1701 January Stamp of the Month available exclusively throughout January 2017 for $27 or for just $7.50 when you spend $75. 

I had a lot of fun making this scrap card - like a patchwork quilt. All the scraps from the Workshops Your Way® Hello Lovely Scrapbooking Kit.

Just 5 1/2" × 4 1/4" White Cards & Envelopes, Value Pack 

white card and Zip Strips and half inch strips from the scraps. 

Stamped the heart with Black Memento™ Ink Pad and then second generation stamped the lighter one and coloured it slightly lighter colours with my ShinHan Markers. I ended up using the slighter one for my card. 

After the complex patchwork card I made a super simple elegant thank you card using the PML card and a strip of scrap under the white rectangle. Stamped with Black Memento™ Ink Pad and coloured with ShinHan Markers. I love how pretty it looks and how simple it is.
