We are all creating with the Workshops Your Way® No Worries Scrapbooking Kit. This kit is featured by Close to My Heart in June and is available until the end of the new Seasonal Expressions Ideas Book. 

Product Description

Kit contents:

Use the materials in this kit and the online instructions found on all consultants websites (click here find the instructions if you don't have a consultant) to create three coordinating scrapbook layouts.

I made the pages first using the cutting guide and then the cards as per the instructions except for a few minor changes that made a massive difference. As I usually do, I use a variation of the cards and pages just by turning over the double-sided papers. I wasn't a huge fan of the large print palm trees, so I turned those sheets over and the pages turned out quite different. I love them. I also used my scraps plus some Kraft cardstock to make another set of 2 pages, giving me 8 pages in total. I haven't shown them here because I haven't added photos and they look a bit plain without anything on them. I really love the natural look of the timber and thatched paper and how fun and playful the blue striped paper is. 

The pictures below are from the CTMH head office team and are shown in the catalogue. 

I also made the cards as per the instructions (using two sides of each paper to create different samples) but didn't use the stamp set as instructed because I don't have anyone I know retiring. So my cards are waiting on titles and empressions on them. They are perfect for a masculine card or gender neutral option. 

So after making 8 pages and 6 cards I still needed something I could show everyone on the blog hop. 

I LOVE the wooden paper and using one of the Picture My Life cards of wood I cut the 4x6 card down to 4x5.25 to have a border on my 4.25 x 5.5 sized cards (4 1/4" × 5 1/2" White Cards & Envelopes Value Pack).

Then I added True Love Stamp set with the solid heart stamp in Whisper Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad and then I stamped over "This card is a PAPER HUG" with Black Memento™ Ink Pad on 12" × 12" White Daisy Cardstock offcuts. 

This stamp set True Love is the Operation Smile stamp set so $7 US dollars from the sale of every set of this stamp set goes to Operation Smile - operations in third world nations on children to repair cleft lip and cleft palette issues. Its a truly amazing stamp set. So sweet and versatile. 

To finish off my card I used 12" × 12" White Daisy Cardstock offcuts to cut out a thin cut heart. I adhered the thin cut hearts with Bonding Memories™ Glue Pen and the title with 3-D Foam Tape.

Seasonal Expressions 1 Last Chance CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

My Favourite section of the Seasonal Expressions 1 catalogue was the one I've just been working with this month, the Regatta section. I really love the stamp sets in this section. I started with a 12" X 12" sheet of Kraft Cardstock and I cut it into three cards that folded to 4 inches x 5.5 inches (leftover strips of cardstock shown). 

I used the leftover Regatta Paper from the Workshops Your Way™ Regatta Scrapbooking Kit and zip strip. Plus I printed the Happy Birthday Matey and Pirate in Black Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad from the Pirate Birthday. 

I used the Pirate Birthday stamp set in a few cards because its just so cute! 

I finished this card with the Regatta Complements from the Workshops Your Way™ Regatta Scrapbooking Kit. I coloured in the mini little pirate with Shin Han Markers

Next (above) I used a peice of Watercolor Paper that I had already painted with a variegation technique using the Close to My Heart Watercolor Paints and Paintbrush Set. When I am painting I like to paint lots of extra paper to use for varying projects later. All I did to finish this card off was stamp the images from the Pirate Birthday on the front. Its one of my favourite cards. Simple yet artistic. 

This next card I made (above) was using a mix of the Pirate Birthday and My Anchor stamp sets which are both really cute. The "nothing but blue skies ahead" title was a zip strip cut down from the Workshops Your Way™ Regatta Scrapbooking Kit. The anchor and paper were also from that kit. I created the "Happy Birthday Matey" banner with 12" X 12" White Daisy Cardstock and my Non-stick Micro-tip Scissors. The ink colour on this card with Sapphire Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad which is one of the Regatta colours. 

The next card I made with another pre-painted piece of Watercolor Paper that I had already painted using the Close to My Heart Watercolor Paints and Paintbrush Set. Once I painted the card, all I added with the images from the My Anchor stamp set in Black Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad all stuck on the 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" Colonial White Cards & Envelopes, Value Pack.

I still had some pre-painted watercolor Paper that I had already painted using the Close to My Heart Watercolor Paints and Paintbrush Set. This time I wanted to use another stamp set that I loved from the Seasonal Expressions 1 Catalogue. It is a little M-sized stamp set called A Day for Mother. 

I had been shown some really great techniques at our last Fun Day and hadn't finished them off. So I decided having already painted them that I would make this a Mothers day card. I used Sapphire Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad.

 To finish off the card, underneath the edges I put Silver Shimmer Trim. 

I started off cutting it in half with my Non-stick Micro-tip Scissors but it was really fiddly and didn't look that great so on the sides I just used the full width of the shimmer Trim. I like the fancy edge it gave to the finished product. 

This was a really fun card to paint and finish off. 

My last card (above) was also pre-painted with watercolour and I added the Balloon Wishes balloon to the colour washed card and the A Day for Mother stamp underneath. These were really quick cards for me because I'd done all the work of the painting at the last fun day and I was just finishing them off. This card was also stuck on the 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" Colonial White Cards & Envelopes, Value Pack.

Regatta CTMH Collection Australasian Blog Hop

Below is one of the layouts. The other layouts I did aren't pictured. This is on our trip to Bremer Bay, Wagin isn't near the coast but the pages matched with the colours and the sentiments so I did my Bremer Bay photos AND my on the way to Bremer Bay photos! 

With the cards for the Workshops Your Way™ Regatta Scrapbooking Kit that I could turn the paper around for a different look, I did it. Just by reversing the paper created such a different look on both sides. I really loved the My Anchor Thin Cuts and My Anchor stamp set, specifically the cute little boats and birds flying. I also really love the sayings on this stamp set. Very romantic and loving, or to share with someone that has been very supportive of you. 

 

I made the cards from the kit (two of the cards that are the same are not pictured above), and then afterwards, I made a variety of other cards using SCRAPS!! 

I made the above card just using scraps from the pages, plus one of the 4x3 picture my life cards and the zip strip title. To finish it off I put a strip of White Shimmer Trim. So easy to make this card from scraps. All put together about Duck® Easy Stick™ Adhesive 

and the title put on with 3-D Foam Tape.

 I used the My Anchor Thin Cuts and My Anchor Stamp set for the Glacier Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad waves, and Pomegranate Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad for the boat and Sapphire Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad for the flag on the Ship. The flags and the "you are sunshine for my soul" title were from zip strips on the edge of the pages.   

The above Happy Day card was made using a 3x4 picture my life card and a scrap of Glacier Cardstock. The Happy was from the My Anchor Thin Cuts and My Anchor Stamp set stamped with Sapphire Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad and the Day title was stamped with White Daisy Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad (left carefully because Pigment ink takes longer to dry). I finished it with Red Shimmer Trim covered with White & Gold Ribbon from the Workshops Your Way™ Regatta Scrapbooking Kit. I stuck the ribbon onto the shimmer trim with Micro Glue Dots™. 3-D Foam Tape added dimension to the cards. 

The above card was made using more scraps, plus the same 'Happy' and Boat from the previous cards (stamped twice because I cut the thin cuts with two thicknesses of paper). Birthday title was created with the Handwritten Print. Finished the card off with Maritime Puffies. 

I still have lots of scraps left over, plus Maritime Puffies, picture my life cards and Regatta Complements from the lovely Workshops Your Way™ Regatta Scrapbooking Kit. My plan is to use these all up so I can start on the new papers when the new ideas book/catalogue is released next month!
