Inspiration Photo - Memorial Day. Use only the colours in the photo to create your artwork. You are free to use Black, White and Browns.
I pulled out some older fundamentals paper and created two similar cards just varying the size of the pieces. Plus some thin ribbon and black twine. Then to finish them off I added 3 white dots from the
Quick simple cards that look bright and happy. I thought they would be happy mail for someone. I photographed them on the blanket that I was wrapped in cause it was cold :) We are heading into colder weather in Western Australia.

To start my card I pulled out the Gorgeous Picture My Life™ Cards—Feels Like Homeand played with them for awhile. SO So so many options for great cards with these pre-printed cards.
"These are Double-sided pocket cards featuring unique designs, sentiments, and icons". Not all designs shown in above photo. 12 – 4" × 6" pocket cards and 2 – 3" × 4" pocket cards. Lots of these cards have different colours or patterns on the reverse side of them. So many options. This means I will need to get 2 packs of these cards to get all the patterns. On the green floral that I put on my card under the picture my life card "you feel like home to me", the other side is the pink leaves as shown in th ebottom left hand side of the photo (the bit left over. I cut down the 3x4 card to 3x3.75 to fit sideways on the 4x6 green card. After backing the white on Green I used 3D foam tape to raise them up on the striped PML card (This I also cut down from 4x6 to 4x5.25). I stuck the Blue Burlap Ribbon(which is on special at the moment) on with Glue Dots® Mini Dotsand then finished it off with Grey Gems.
My photo is a little creamy looking as taken in artificial lighting.

Today I would like to share with you my projects which feature the Heartfelt Sentiments—February Stamp of the Monthavailable exclusively throughout February 2019 for $29.50 or for just $8.25 when you spend $82.50.
I decided to use the cute little flowers of this stamp set to create a little border for my card. I stamped them in black ink and then coloured with mint shimmer brush.
I stamped the ribbon in Mint and the title in the black ink and cut it out and took the edges off it so I could add it to the card.
I added the ribbon sentiment with 3D foam tape. I added the light pink cardstock at the top and the striped pink paper from the Something Fierce Paper pack at the bottom.
When I put the plain pink cardstock it was a little flat, so I decided to add a little texture with the tiny dots on this stamp set.
The photo is a little light so its hard to see. I took a close up to see if you could see the Mint Shimmer Brush.
The colours I chose where for this weeks Colour Dare Challenge which is a mood board as below. The pinks, reds and aqua style colours. Mood Board - Valentine's Day Colors - Color Dare #328. Mine are a more subtle version of the mood board.

This cute little set is perfect for adding little titles or icons to your scrapbooking, journalling, bullet journals, or cards. I used it for a mini scrapbook kit called Story by Stacy™ Story Starter Workshop Kit—Stripes
I got one of these at our Convention and while there decided to do an album for my sister who's moved to the UK recently. I purchased a second one to have a copy for myself at home, for the kids to look at and for my to show off to everyone how cute these little albums are. I don't want to share the whole album online because it is private for my sisters birthday but I wanted to show a few pages I did using these cute little icons from this months stamp of the month.
There are some great instructions inside the Story Starter kit to make this album and I worked on it from the story before the photos.
The Album is called "What we know and love about DAENA" for her Birthday in June (it may be arriving a few days late as it hasn't arrived yet and her birthday was the 25th June - it will be worth the wait I promise DM).
I knew Daena loves music and how fortuitous this set has MUSIC NOTES (This is so handy for me because both my children are learning instruments, so this tiny stamp will get a workout), it will make a cute bullet point for journalling on the big scrapbook pages and it makes a cute addition to the smaller pages or cards (especially cards to thank the music teachers at the end of the year!).

Once I had determined I wanted to write about Music I used the back of the white card to stamp Heather Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Padall down the side of the card (x2), the other side has lines. You can see that I ran off the bottom with a bit of scrap so I could get a single note down there and have the corner all stamped up.
Due to the fact that this little album is travelling from Australia to the UK I wanted to make it as light as possible, so I stamped and wrote on both sides of the cards. I have HEAPS of cards left over because the kit is designed to have one bit of card for each side and gives you a whole set as a practice set (I only practiced a few pages so have LOTS of cards left so I can use them in other ways! yay!!). I was happy with how it turned out and I don't think you can see thru it (unless you hold it up to the light). It ended up weighing less than 100 grams, so worth all the weight reductions.
The end result above, after writing on it was the above (you can't see anything from the page before). The next icon I knew I had to use was the little plane - as you can see from the below pic I ended up doing a couple of placements for the plane. I ended up liking the bottom one better so I sent that one in my sisters album. She loves to Travel so this plane is the perfect for the travel page of her album. I had plenty of cards to re-stamp them but I decided it didn't matter if our two albums were slightly different, because they are each UNIQUE.
I had so much fun making this little album and finding photos to fit them. Some of the pages I did a collage prints and got 4 photos in the space. I would recommend everyone do one of these tiny albums of things you know and love about your family or friends. I'm sure it will become a treasured keepsake. Plus the Highlight Reel is the perfect stamp set to accompany it.

🎵 Happy New Financial Year everyone - You can make new years resolutions today about what you'll do in the next financial year... I resolve to post more of my artworks on my blog, Pinterest, Instagram and my Facebook Business Page, so I will have to DO more artworks, cards, pages, tags, bookmarks, off the page items, papercrafts and all sorts of fun things, to inspire my loyal followers, customers, family and friends. The first image that spoke to me was the "You are the Sunshine in my Pocket" and I wanted to make a Pocket with this stamp set. I decided I needed a Denim look paper, so I pulled out the Enchantment Fundamental Paper Packetwith the sapphire A shaped triangle things. and I cut a square and then trimmed the bottom into a point (like a reverse banner). to make a pocket shape. I then matted it in White Daisy Cardstock. I used Sapphire Cardstock to matt the whole white daisy card with a small edge of white.
Apologies for my photos - I had to take the photos at night because I've been working late and had no time to take daylight photos. I really want to get myself a light box for photography so I can take photos at night or anytime of the day and have them look nice.
Anyway...I hope you like them.
Note: While I was making this card my sister started singing the song "I've got a pocketful of Sunshine" and its very catchy and we couldn't stop singing over and over "I've got a pocket, got a pocketful of sunshine!!"... (I had to put the video here too so you could all have it stuck in your heads too). Link to YouTube.
